Interests: Music, Hanging with my friends and DG sisters, Doing random things at random hours, Swimming, Scuba Diving, Traveling, Lifeguarding, Spending time in Lebanon with family and friends (especially in the summer when there is so much to do), Camping, Studying God's Word and moving closer to Him in faith Expertise: I have really learned that the only thing that one can count on is God's amazing grace. He was there for me though the deaths that I have experienced in my family to all the other problems that I tend to experience. His love and His grace are there. It took me a while to figure out what that really ment. I think now it means that he will never leave my side that he will be the one that I can cry to in the middle of the night or that will hold me when there is no one else around. I think that it means that His love will be everlasting. He is AMAZING!! Occupation: Student Industry: Journalism

| Well in less than a month things have changed a lot. I am single again. This is a good thing and a bad thing. I miss Dave a lot but we needed the time apart so that I can move on from some stuff and come back to school ready to go again. I'm glad that I have friends who care so much as to tell me like it is (Amanda) and try to help me, so that I can become a better person.
I've had a good two weeks I have had time to spend with my sisters and time to spend with my family, so that has been good. We had a sisterhood retreat and trust me I was not excited about going or excited about recruitment, but now I am! I am glad that we got to spend the weekend together and that we were able to build up our sisterhood. It was just a great time of bonding and now I can't wait to get back to school to put everything into action. Along with spending time with family I got to celebrate Brittany's 21st birthday and that was great. People say that most of the time after you turn 21 you don't want to go out to the bars as much, well I think that I'm backwards then because I can't wait to go out with friends this year!
What else? I'm just anxious to get back to campus and see what this year holds. I know that it's going to be hard in the beginning, getting back to class and homework and all that fun stuff, but this year seems to be even busier than last so we will have to manage our time a lot more. Not only will I be involved in the activities I was last year, but I'm also going to do Up Til Dawn, and I'll be working downtown Indianapolis on Tuesday's and Thursday's. Wow, so busy!
The rest of the summer includes going to Purdue, cleaning everything out of my room, packing for school, and then making at least two more trips down to Franklin for random things. Busy times ahead!
| So my 22nd birthday. Wow I can't believe that I am that old! It was a good birthday I had a lot of fun at Jillians and I had the time to ejoy the moments with some friends. I don't know why I'm so emotional and so worried about not being at Franklin this weekend. Let's see there is about a month till we start school again and I can't wait! I want people to be on campus and I want to be able to spend time with friends. Well this weekend should be fun. I will be going swing dancing for my first time tonight and then tomorrow will be going to a polo match. I don't know what else I'll be doing, maybe going out again this weekend. Who knows?! It should be a fun weekend.
On another note I hate the doctor's. I feel as though their patients should revolve their lives around the doctors and I don't feel that way. I think that doctors should have hours on the weekend and in the evenings. Most don't and so that fustrates me. Plus in the next four weeks I have about 8/9 doctor appointments for different reasons. I hate the doctor! But what can you do? I guess you really can't do anything cause you have to go to the doctor to make sure that everything is working right.
Well I shall talk to you later.
| Okay, so there has been some exciting stuff happening.
First, let me tell you that I loved the fourth again this year. It is still my favorite holiday. I think that it's so great because it brings out people to support the country that we love and that we support. It draws people from all different places together. This year my aunt and uncle from Florida along with my cousion from Florida came up here. It was a great time! I was able to spend a lot of time with my cousion and to see that not all kids are terrible kids. It made me realize that I might be able to have kids at one point, but not at this time. The fireworks were great because not only was I able to see a set of them but Dave was wonderful and drove up from Cincinnati just to watch the fireworks with me. What a great guy he is! So the fourth was great
Other than that I really haven't done that much. I went out with Ray and Heather to dinner with Dave and we had a great time and then we were going to go to the drive-in, but it was all sold out . Oh well. Maybe we will go this weekend. The two movies that I wanted to see were Priates of the Carribean and Cars. Guess what?!?!?! On the movie info website Canery Creek was showing these two movies together last night at the drive in. I hope that on Friday or Saturday they will be showing these two movies together again. However, last night at dinner my parents decided that we would go see Priates so we went to the movies and saw it. It was good and I would probably go see it again if it was at the drive in. Otherwise, I could wait and see it when it came out on video.
Well Thursday will be a great day. I will be 22 years old. I can't believe it! Then we will be going to Jillians that evening. Everyone is invited to join us downtown at about 8/8:30 on Thursday to go to Jillians. Just show up! I am so excited to spend my birthday with Dave and I think that he really wants to make it special so we will see what happens.
Back to work it is, so later!
